Gianmarc Manzione is editor of Bowlers Journal International, the oldest monthly sports magazine in the country, and author of the nonfiction book, PIN ACTION: Small-Time Gangsters, High-Stakes Gambling, and the Teenage Hustler who Became a Bowling Champion, which was released by Pegasus Books/W.W. Norton in 2014. He previously worked for USBC as the Bowling News Manager for BOWL.com. He is a Puschart Prize-nominated poet and nonfiction writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Paris Review, The Southern Review and elsewhere. He earned a master’s degree in Creative Writing from The New School in 2004, and he has taught composition, creative writing, intro to poetry, poetic forms, and contemporary literature.
