Sylvia Broyles held leadership positions in local, state, and national bowling associations for over 40 years. She served as president of WIBC and served on the USBC Board of Directors. Broyles participated extensively in Texas bowling industry, holding positions as Texas Women's Bowling Association director, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Broyles states, "My involvement with bowling administration has allowed me to be an advocate for fairness. But bowling is really all about friendship and fun."
