The former Sharon, Pa. barber provided some of the most exciting moments in Masters history when he came from the losers bracket to defeat defending champion Jim Godman with clutch strikes in the final frames of both matches at the 1972 USBC Masters. He won five titles including the Masters crown. In 1981, Beach captured his second PBA title by winning the first PBA Seniors tournament in New Orleans.
