USBC High School forms
from High School Bowling USA, a jointly funded program established in 2001 by USBC and the Bowling Proprietors Association of America. HSBUSA was administered out of Arlington, Texas, and had just six high school varsity bowling programs throughout the nation.

When HSBUSA became USBC High School in spring 2005, 15 varsity bowling programs existed with numerous club programs. Under the auspices of USBC, the high school bowling program can build on the organization's resources and access to youth bowlers. Although administered by USBC, the BPAA continues to provide support and advice through participation on the High School Advisory Board.
