Gary AndersonGary Anderson

Gary Anderson, Taylors , S.C.
Anderson is a tax practitioner who has served on the USBC Board of Directors since its inception in 2004. He also is Southeast Bowling Association executive director.
 
Prior to joining the USBC Board, he was an American Bowling Congress director for 15 years. He began his volunteer work at the local level serving as a Greater Greenville (S.C.) Bowling Association director in 1983 before going on to serve as vice president, president and life member. He has been on the Southeast Bowling Association Board since 1985 and served as South Carolina State BA executive director from 1987-96.
 
An accomplished bowler, he was the 1992 Greater Greenville Bowling Association team, doubles and all-events champion. He also is a member of the Greater Greenville BA, South Carolina BA and Southeastern BA Halls of Fame. In addition, he has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association since 1976.

Darlene BakerDarlene Baker

Darlene Baker, Mahomet, Ill.
Baker is director of finance and administration for Planned Parenthood of East Central Illinois. She became USBC vice president Aug.1, 2007 after three years as a USBC director and chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. She previously served on the boards of the YABA, WIBC and USA Bowling.
 
She has been on the Illinois USBC Women's Bowling Association Board of Directors since 1993 and served as third vice president for nearly six years. She has been a director on the Clinton (Ill.) USBC for two years, and is serving as third vice president of the Champaign Area USBC. She also has served on the Illinois State USBC Youth Board since 1994, with eight years as second vice president. She was Illinois Bowling Council secretary-treasurer for eight years and spent 20 years on the Clinton (Ill.) WBA Board, including three years as president. She is a member of the Clinton WBA Hall of Fame and Illinois WBA Hall of Fame, both for meritorious service.
 
On the lanes, she won eight titles in the 1989 Clinton (Ill.) WBA championships. She also is a certified lane inspector. Baker bowled a high series of 675 to finish fourth in the USBC Open Championships Tournament Classified Division in 2006.

Thomas BaxterThomas Baxter

Thomas Baxter, Indianapolis
Baxter is a retired business integrator for Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis. Baxter joined the American Bowling Congress Board of Directors in 1982 and became a vice president in 1996. He has been honored with election into the Indianapolis, Franklin (Ind.), and Indiana Bowling Association halls of fame.
 
Baxter began his service in 1977 as an American Junior Bowling Congress coach. In 1979, he was elected as a Greater Indianapolis Bowling Association director. Ten years later, he was elected as a GIBA life member.
He was appointed Indiana State Bowling Association assistant secretary-treasurer in 1982 and then became secretary-treasurer/executive director in 1989, serving for a decade before later being named an advisor to the executive director and currently as assistant association manager and communications manager. In addition to his service to bowling, he has excelled on the lanes rolling a 300 game in 1984.

Glenda BeckettGlenda Beckett

Glenda Beckett, Palmetto Bay, Fla.
Beckett is a retired executive assistant to the regional president for AT&T/Lucent Technologies. She also is a Greater Miami USBC Association director. That follows four years as a Greater Miami Women's Bowling Association board member.
 
During a seven-year work related assignment in Southeast Asia, she learned to bowl and became active in league bowling in Singapore and Thailand. She also volunteered at several international tournaments. She also served as marketing director for Don Carter's Kendall Lanes. She received the 2006 Greater Miami Women's Bowling Association Outstanding Service Award.
 
On the lanes, she won the Dade County Bowlerettes scratch singles title and finished eighth in the 2005 Florida State Senior Tournament all-events. She is co-founder of the Dade County Senior Women's Bowling Tournament and a member of the Florida and National 500 Clubs

Barbara ChrismanBarbara Chrisman

Barbara Chrisman, Pleasant View, Utah
Chrisman and husband Bill have owned Storm Products, Inc. since 1985. Previously, she successfully managed and operated her own industrial supply company. She was appointed to the USBC Board in 2005 by then-USBC President Michael Carroll to serve the unexpired term of ABC appointee Kevin Dornberger who joined the USBC staff. She also is a board member of The Bowling Foundation and is an invited industry advisor to the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America.
 
Through her business knowledge and bowling awareness, she assisted in growing Storm Products, Inc. into an internationally recognized manufacturer of bowling balls, bags and accessories. With a genuine concern for the sport of bowling, Chrisman was instrumental in developing sponsorship programs for all areas of bowling competition.
 
Chrisman began bowling as soon as she could hold a bowling ball. She joined the junior leagues at age 11 and has been bowling in a certified league until this last year were injuries from a car accident prevented her from bowling. She bowled her first WIBC Championship Tournament at the age of 19. Chrisman has held many league offices and was secretary and president of the Ogden Utah 600 club.

Nicholas HoaglandNicholas Hoagland

Nicholas Hoagland, Bloomington, Ind.
Hoagland currently is an adjunct lecturer at Indiana University and works as the sales and marketing coordinator for Indiana University Sports Properties while finishing his master's degree in sports marketing. Prior to that, the Indiana University star bowler served as the director of tournament marketing for Columbia 300 and as the manager of consumer programs for the Professional Bowlers Association.
 
Hoagland helped develop the PBA Tour's pro-am business, exempt tour model, and lane maintenance program which evolved into the patterns used in PBA Experience Leagues. He also has created lane patterns and conditioned lanes for the USBC Masters and USBC Senior Masters.
 
A bowler since age 5, Hoagland is a four-year member of Indiana's bowling team including being captain of this year's squad. He also is the 1997 Collegiate Masters champion and won the 2001 USBC Open Championships singles title.

Dennis LightDennis Light

Dennis Light, White Plains, N.Y.
Light, a practicing attorney in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, is a member of the New York State Public Defender's and Greenburgh Bar Associations. He previously was a plumbing and heating products salesman and before that the president/licensed master plumber of a family owned plumbing and heating company.
 
He currently is New York State USBC Association first vice president and Westchester County USBC Association president. He was a past president-life member and hall of fame inductee of the Westchester County Bowling Association when it dissolved in 2006.
 
A bowler since 1968, Light is a three-time state association and 12-time local association champion. He also owns one National Junior College Athletic Association doubles title and is a 13-time Empire State Games medalist.

John MastersJohn Masters

John Masters, Otsego, Mich.
Masters has been an IT security specialist at Alticor Inc. since 2001 and has spent the past 25 years as a computer analyst and accountant.
 
He has been association manager for the Kalamazoo Metro USBC Bowling Association since 2001 and of the Kalamazoo Area USBC Youth Association since 2005. He currently serves as association manager of the Michigan State Polish Bowling Association.
 
A member of the Professional Bowlers Association since 1999, he was the 2004 Kalamazoo Metro Bowling Association Bowler of the Year. He has won his local association team, singles, doubles and all-events championships.

Marci WilliamsMarci Williams

Marci Williams, Wichita, Kan.
Williams recently retired from Learjet, Inc. after 34 years, the last 20 as a corporate tax analyst. For 15 years she served on Learjet's management association board and the company's employees' association board.
 
She has been Great Plains USBC Association president since 2005 with the association being named 2005 BPAA Association of the Year.
 
A bowler for more than 35 years, Williams had a record qualifying round at the 2007 USBC Senior Queens. She was part of a team that won several Brunswick World Team Challenge women's events in the 1990s. She was named 2006-07 Great Plains USBC Senior Bowler of the Year.
