At the beginning of the last season, twenty bowlers from Coldwater Boys High School and St. Henry boys team participated in a Bowl like the Pros clinic put on by Norm Duke, Mika Koivuniemi, Bob Learn Jr. and Dale Niemela. Our kids learned so much in that one day that it elevated their bowling to a whole new level. This past season — the first that bowling was recognized as a high school sport in Ohio —  the Coldwater Boys High School bowling team won the first Ohio High School State Athletic Association title and the St. Henry boys team was the runner-up. I look forward to attending another clinic in the future with more of our future high school bowlers.
