CLIP Manual

Introduction

Welcome and thank you for taking part in the Computerized Lane Inspection Program! This program serves two principal functions:

  • It is the text for participants in the Computerized Lane Inspection Program. The material will help you in mastering the technical aspects of training and understanding the environment in which inspections take place.
  • It is a reference, a guide to help reinforce and refresh your training. After you complete the course, you have the responsibility for improving your skill levels and for retaining a good understanding of the responsibilities of an inspector.

Since you may not have the opportunity to conduct many inspections, you are encouraged to review the materials to keep things fresh in your mind.
