The United States Bowling Congress provides programs and services to several million members as well as various industry trade organizations. USBC also conducts major tournaments, programs and events including collegiate, high school, coaching and much more. USBC is made up of many teams, including Communications, Education, Event Planning, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Purchasing, Warehouse, etc. Not all positions require bowling knowledge or experience.

USBC Headquarters Opportunities

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative duties to the Membership Services Team. This position will support other departments of the organization as needed. This position will also support switchboard.
The Applications Developer designs, installs, manages, and maintains Bowling Headquarters software and must have substantial knowledge of the modern sport of bowling, communicate openly and effectively regarding development tasks, schedules, status, and designs to facilitate strong relationships between peer development groups and systems stakeholders and users, must also have very strong verbal and written communication skills as customer interface is a shared responsibility of the team.
Our Market Research Analyst is principally responsible for interpreting data, formulating surveys/reports and making recommendations based upon primary and secondary research findings for the bowling industry partners at the International Bowling Campus (United States Bowling Congress, Bowling Proprietors' Association of America and Strike Ten Entertainment). To accomplish this task, the Market Research Analyst must understand, define and document against specific marketing objectives. The Market Research Analyst applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations.
This position will assist the Director of Membership Development in building and maintaining relationships with bowling proprietors who own 3 or more centers. It will require working with proprietors, center managers, their staff and USBC Local Associations. The position will coordinate all activities between these proprietors and all USBC programs (i.e.; Coaching, Youth Development, Membership Development, etc.) to insure a successful relationship for both entities with a goal to increase the number of USBC certified leagues or bowlers hosted by these centers.
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the leader and primary public representative of the USBC. He/She is responsible for the successful management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. He/She will assure that the USBC has a long-range strategy and that timely progress is achieved.
