As the national governing body of the sport of bowling, as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee, the United States Bowling Congress is responsibile for protecting the amateur status of our youth members. Amateur status allows USBC Youth bowlers to retain their eligibility to compete in any sport of their choice to the best of their abilities at the high school and collegiate levels.
The following list of approved and non-approved items is effective as of Aug. 1, 2006. Please note that in order to comply with the strictest high school athletic association rules, USBC recommends limiting the value of awards in USBC Youth certified competitions to $20 (not including engraving).
