Field narrows at NAIA Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS - Four men's teams and two women's teams made it through the opening day of match play undefeated at the 2012 NAIA Invitational.

Clarke, Calumet, Webber International and Missouri Baptist are unbeaten on the men's side, while Webber International and Pikeville are undefeated for the women.

In the men's losers bracket, four teams remain - St. Ambrose, William Penn, Davenport and Midland. There are also four teams left in the women's losers bracket, with William Penn, Midland, Ashford and Campbellsville still alive.

The best-of-five double-elimination match-play bracket resumes at 8 a.m. Eastern on Sunday at Western Bowl. All rounds are being broadcast live on BowlTV.
