Rhino Page wins PBA South Region title

RhinoPageInsideMelbourne, Fla. – Rhino Page of Dade City, Fla., defeated amateur Brian Huther of Tampa, 221-177, to win his fourth Professional Bowlers Association South Region title in the inaugural Reality Check Classic at Brunswick Harbour Lanes Sunday.

Page earned $3,200 for the win while Huther earned $1,600 as the runner-up. Page also added another perfect game to his PBA resume.

In the semifinal round, Page defeated Chris Collins of Savannah, Ga., 268-265, while Huther defeated former PBA Tour player Paul Koehler of Stuart, Fla., 181-177, in a battle of amateurs.

The PBA South Region’s next tournament will be the Chameleon Championship Gastonia, N.C. July 6-8.
