As an elite player, you have put in a lot of work to learn everything you can about bowling equipment and the nuances of the game. If not early in your development, then at some point you probably worked with a coach who helped you break through to another level or possibly helped you through a trying period when your game just wasn't right.
So for the New Year, consider giving back to the sport by becoming a coach yourself. The USBC Coaching Level One program is an online course that covers fundamentals that apply to youth and adults. Take the course and then check with your local bowling center to see if you can help out with the youth leagues in your area. Spending a little time sharing your knowledge can have a great impact on a young bowler.
