ARLINGTON, Texas - Nebraska defeated Maryland Eastern Shore, 4-1, on Sunday to win the Prairie View A&M Invitational at the International Training and Research Center.

Nebraska jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven match with wins of 183-166 and 236-146. UMES rebounded to take the third game, 190-180, but Nebraska rallied to take the title 211-171 and 255-217.
In the third-place match, Arkansas State defeated Vanderbilt, 4-2.
Maryland Eastern Shore's Anggie Ramirez topped the individual standings with a five-game total of 1,076. Ashley Rucker of Arkansas State finished second with 1,064, while Nebraska's Liz Kuhlkin was third with 1,049.
