Kim Terrell was named the official spokesperson for womens collegiate bowling and USBC Collegiate in November 2001. The 2001 Womens U.S. Open and 2002 USBC Queens champion has nine titles in her distinguished professional career. In 2007, she was hired to coach the Delaware State University women's bowling team.
Prior to joining the pro ranks, Terrell established herself in the bowling world as a collegiate bowler at San Jose State University, earning All-America honors twice. Following her collegiate success, the California native represented her country internationally for two seasons as a member of Team USA. Since 2004, Terrell has served as an assistant coach for Junior Team USA.
A three-time winner of the Robby Award, given to the Professional Women’s Bowling Association player that best exemplifies the most positive image of women in professional bowling, both on the lanes and off. With the WIBC Queens title under her belt, Terrell went on to appear on national television a career-best nine times in 2002.
As USBC Collegiate spokesperson, Terrell makes appearances and speaks at a variety of conferences, conventions, institutions and tournaments on behalf of USBC Collegiate. In addition, she has become familiar with and speaks on behalf of the sport’s transition to NCAA championship sport status for women’s collegiate bowling. |
