PBA Documentary Opens in Select Cities this Month
Professional bowling's definitive documentary A League of Ordinary Gentlemen opens later this month in Tucson, Ariz.; Rock Island, Ill.; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Norfolk, Va.; Chicago; and Pittsburgh. It is scheduled to open in Dallas this September.
The film chronicles life on the tour through the experiences of four of its stars -- Walter Ray Williams Jr., Pete Weber, Chris Barnes and Wayne Webb - who are all at very different places in their careers. It also provides an overview of the tour’s resurgence since its purchase by three Microsoft executives in 2000. A trailer and additional information about the movie may be found by visiting www.bowlingmovie.com.
