What promises to be one of the greatest tournaments in bowling history, The Kingpin Million Dollar Challenge, is almost here. Tickets Now On Sale for 2005 USBC Masters Finals

Tickets for the ESPN-televised finals of the USBC Masters are now on sale. The U.S. Cellular Arena in downtown Milwaukee will be the site of the finals which will take place at 1 p.m. Eastern ( noon Central) on Nov. 20.

The Masters is bowling’s premier professional event and a major tournament on the PBA Tour. More than 550 of the world’s top PBA professionals and amateur bowlers will compete for a prize fund expected to approach $400,000.

A Masters finals ticket also will enable bowling fans to experience USBC BowlFest on Saturday evening Nov. 19 at the U.S. Cellular Arena the night before the TV finals where there will be music, bowling, food and fun for the entire family. Each ticket purchased for the finals will include admission to BowlFest.

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster online, Ticketmaster outlets or by phone - (414) 276-4545. Tickets also available at the Milwaukee Theatre Box Office (Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 500 W. Kilbourn Ave.).

Entries Streaming In For USBC Open Championships

The USBC Open Championships (formerly the ABC Championships Tournament) is accepting entries for the 2006 tournament. The tournament is scheduled to run Feb. 11- July 1, 2006 (unless extended).

The USBC Open Championships allows USBC members to experience competition in a stadium-like atmosphere, something few other sports membership organizations offer. The 2006 event will be conducted in Corpus Christi’s newly-refurbished American Bank Center.

The deadline to enter is Dec. 15, but you should enter now to ensure your spot in the world’s largest participatory sporting event. For entry information and available dates visit the USBC Open section of bowl.com or call (877) 539-7930.

USBC Women’s Championships Reservations Accepted Beginning Sept. 19

Mark your calendar. Entries soon will be accepted for the 2006 USBC Women’s Championships, presented by Tri-Properties (formerly the WIBC Championship Tournament) in Reno, Nev. The tournament is scheduled to run March 16- July 2, 2006 (unless extended).

Experience the beautiful Sierra Country and bowling in the newly-renovated National Bowling Stadium.

Reservations will be accepted through the tournament phone line at (414) 423-9006 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT, Mon.-Fri., beginning Mon., Sept. 19. Reservations also will be accepted through online requests, fax or mail beginning Sept. 19, however, phone reservations take precedence.
