Go inside the sport at the USBC Convention
Bowling leagues and sport rules change a little bit each year, and it's all due to USBC members who debate and vote at the USBC Convention. It's not just for adults - youth are invited too.

Make plans now to visit Kansas City, Mo., May 7-10 for the 2008 Convention. In addition to rule voting, the Convention features workshops, a party and qualifier tournaments for Team USA and the Junior Gold Championships. And this year, bowling action takes center stage - check bowl.com for details about the big surprise.

Team USA: dominated 2007, could explode in 2008 with pro additions
Team USA had a banner year in 2007, racking up medals all over the globe. The team took gold at the Men's American Zone Championships in Guatemala and silver at the Women's World Championships in Mexico. Team members took home additional singles and doubles medals at both tournaments plus at the Pan American Games in Brazil.

If you think that's a good year, wait 'til 2008. The World Tenpin Bowling Association recently voted to allow pro bowlers to compete on Team USA, which could make international competition a lot more exciting. Imagine a new type of "Dream Team" stacked with the sport's cream of the crop. Be sure to visit bowl.com regularly for Dream Team news and Team USA tournament results.
