Overview
The USBC Youth program offers many opportunities for young people to learn a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime, improve their physical skills, develop teamwork and leadership abilities, and try for their part of more than $6 million in scholarships awarded to youth bowlers every year.

Organized competition through leagues and tournaments, awards recognition, standardized playing rules, coaching, participation at the league level of the Pepsi USBC Youth Championships, scholarship opportunities and a quarterly magazine — US Youth Bowler — are just a sampling of the benefits USBC Youth members enjoy.

USBC Youth Spokesperson - Diandra Asbaty

USBC Youth Logo

"One of the beauties of bowling is that a youth bowler as young as 5 years old can earn scholarship money for college. You cannot say that about many other sports. There are an amazing amount of opportunities within bowling." More

Diandra Asbaty, who was born in Oak Lawn, Ill., and grew up in Dyer, Ind., is one of five people elected by fellow athletes to be a board member of the United States Bowling Congress Board of Directors. Named spokesperson of the USBC Youth program in January 2006, Asbaty has been involved with the sport of bowling for nearly 20 years.
