Getting started
You will need the following information before beginning:
- A copy of the tournament rules (you will only need to input those rules that are a requirement for USBC certification)
- Location(s) and date(s) of the competition(s)
Note: If the tournament offers scholarships, all awards must be deposited in a SMART account. Contact SMART at (800) 514-2695, ext. 3168 or via e-mail to set up an account or for more information.
Getting certified
If there are no issues with your application, you immediately will be provided with a USBC certification number and the opportunity to print an official USBC Tournament Certificate.
If there are questions regarding your application, you will be contacted by a member of the Tournament Certifications team to resolve the issue(s).
After the tournament
Rule 309 requires that final tournament reports (financial and prize list) be filed with USBC within 30 days. You may file your financial report through the Online Tournament Certification Program.
However, you must submit your final prize list to USBC's Tournament Certifications:
