Basic USBC Sport Bowling lane oil patterns have been developed for different lane machines to help bowling centers create Sport Bowling patterns – including the five PBA patterns – for their leagues and/or tournaments.
When entered properly, the Sport Bowling programs will apply a Sport Bowling condition. However, due to various types of lane oils, lane surfaces and the lack of consistency in maintenance from lane machine to lane machine, adjustments may be required to obtain a pattern that meets Sport Bowling requirements.
