Congratulations to Two Balls and Three bags
(Colleen Berry, Kimberly Powell, Cathy Preston and Brian Preston) of Oswego, Ill., the winner of
the 11th and final round of the 2005 Storm National Mixed Team Challenge Series in Milwaukee on May 1.
The team topped a full field of 44 teams to win the $2,000 first prize and Keepsake championship rings.
Conducted as a test during the 2005 season, nearly 300 teams competed in the Storm USBC National Mixed
Team Challenge Series.
The four-player handicap team tournament featured regular format and Baker format competition where
the members of each team alternate frames in a game to combine for one score. Teams bowled three
traditional format games during a morning block and returned in the afternoon to bowl 10 Baker Games.
Each event featured their own prize funds and the winners received Keepsake championship rings.
Participants also had the opportunity to win bowling balls, shoes and tote bags prizes provided by
series sponsors Storm Products and Lind Shoes.
