Fantasy bowling game begins fourth season
Play the exclusive USBC Youth PBA Fantasy Bowling Team game! Select your PBA players, track their successes during the 2007-08 Denny's PBA Tour season and compare your team’s results with teams picked by your friends, fellow competitors and leaders in the bowling community. Will your team have the right stuff? Only time will tell!
USBC will provide special recognition at the end of the game season for the USBC Youth member who picks the highest-scoring Dream Team!
Here’s how our Fantasy Bowling Team game works:
Choose four PBA bowlers for your team by Oct. 20. Here’s the catch – you can only select one player from each of the four groupings below. That way, no one can stack their team with top performers.
Once you have determined your four team members, register your team by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 20. (E-mail USYouthBowler@bowl.com with your team roster, along with your name, city, state and the name of the bowling center where you play in a USBC Youth league.)
After you select your team, check USYouthBowler.com to see how your players performed during each of the Denny's PBA Tour stops. The game starts with the USBC Masters on Oct. 21-28 and ends with the Denny's 65th U.S. Open on March 23-30. Each PBA player will be awarded a point value after each Tour stop, so your score for each single event would be the total points earned at that event by all four of your PBA bowlers.
Check back after each Tour stop to see how many points your players add to your team total.
At the conclusion of the season, the USBC Youth member(s) who registered the team with the most total points will be crowned the game’s Dream Team Champion(s) and receive a special commemorative award.
The four player groupings are based on career earnings, career titles and last year’s status. Remember, you may select only one player from each group and you can’t make changes to your team lineup once the game starts.
