Michigan teen's PBA Dream Team
captures fantasy game championship

Walter Ray Williams Jr

Congratulations to 19-year-old Marten Pykor of Taylor, Mich., the winner of USYouthBowler.com's PBA Fantasy Bowling Team game!

Marten's 2005-06 season picks included Walter Ray Williams Jr., Brad Angelo, Patrick Healey Jr. and Mike Scroggins. Their season-long fantasy game scores were 310, 320, 255 and 390, respectively, giving Marten a total Dream Team score of 1,275 – the highest of any Fantasy Bowling Team game player.

The game, which was announced in the Fall 2005 edition of this online magazine, encouraged readers to select one Professional Bowlers' Association player from each of our four category rosters. (Categories were "Looking for No. 1," "Contenders," "A-Team," and "All-Americans.") Readers could then e-mail their four picks to USYouthBowler.com to register their Dream Team before the start of the 2005-06 PBA season. Viewers could play along all season, as bowler scores in the fantasy game were updated on USYouthBowler.com after each PBA event.
