If you're seeking scholarships, bowling has a lot to offer! Check out these sources of potential scholarships to help pay your way through college:

USBC, bowling's national governing body –

The United States Bowling Congress offers scholarship opportunities through its certified leagues and tournaments, but also awards several national scholarships every year to youth bowlers who submit written applications. USBC offers its Star of Tomorrow awards (USBC Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow and USBC Alberta E. Crowe Star of Tomorrow - two scholarships of $1,500 each the first year, renewable up to three times for a total of $6,000); Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarships (five awards of $5,000 each); Annual Zeb Scholarship (one award of $2,500); USBC Youth Ambassadors of the Year (two awards of $1,500 each); and the Gift for Life Scholarships (12 awards of $1,000 each). Professional Bowlers Association –

The PBA offers its Billy Welu Scholarship, a $1,000 award. Download the application, then submit the completed form to the PBA for consideration.

USBC compiles state-by-state lists of colleges and universities that offer competitive bowling opportunities. Some even offer bowling scholarships to attend their schools and compete on their teams!
