The Ultimate In Lane Maintenance |
 |
Calling all bowling proprietors: here’s your chance to provide your league and tournament bowlers with a world-class lane maintenance program.
Kegel will ship the highest bidder the newest technology in lane maintenance – a state-of-the-art Kustodian ION lane machine valued at nearly $25,000.
The Kustodian ION is the first cordless/battery-powered lane conditioning machine, capable of cleaning and conditioning an estimated 50 lanes per charge (re-charging takes 50 minutes). It also easily converts back to AC power as needed.
“Installation” of the Kustodian ION will include two full days of training by a skilled Kegel technician, who will train center lane maintenance staff on machine operation, adjustment, maintenance and theory. The Kegel factory rep also will help the center set up a “house shot” and a competitive condition for tournaments or practice sessions for serious bowlers. In addition, Kegel provides 24/7 “help line” assistance. |
You can visit www.kegel.net for all of the technical features, but here are a few highlights:
- The Kustodian ION will clean AND condition a bowling lane in about one minute.
- The ION’s patented and proven sanction technology has a Process Verification Procedure that allows you to know the condition you are applying is the same, delivering exactly what you want, day after day, with no guesswork.
- Operation is easy with a user-friendly menu system for precise board-by-board control.
- Its on-board microprocessor allows the machine to diagnose itself to identify problems, allows you to “program” the precise lane conditioning pattern you want, and has a “seven-day planner” to cover all league/tournament needs one week at a time.
- “Password protection” prevents tampering with important machine settings.
- The ION features an improved conditioner transfer brush system, sprayless cleaning system, peristaltic pump, duster compartment, frame design and float switches to make sure you never run out of fluids in the middle of a job.
- The minimum acceptable bid is US$20,000.
- The winning bidder will pay for shipping, travel expenses incurred by a Kegel-certified technician for setup and training, and any applicable taxes/tariff/customs fees which are not included in the auction package. Additional expenses are typically around $1,500 within the continental U.S.
