2024 Open Championships Social Wall Giveaway
OVERVIEW
The 2024 Open Championships will feature a social wall as a part of the on-site experience. Those who participate in the Social Wall Giveaway will be eligible for several monthly prizes and a grand prize. To participate, a picture must be taken in front of the wall followed by a post on social media utilizing the event hashtags.
PRIZES
- Monthly = Digital picture frame - five (5) winners in total
- Grand Prize = Expense-paid trip to the 2025 OC for the winning team
- The Grand Prize includes airfare, hotel, transportation and jerseys.
*Flight costs will be covered up to $500. The winner is responsible for the remaining flight costs if applicable. Flights will be booked beginning January 2025 and are only guaranteed from major U.S. airports.
**Hotel nights are only guaranteed for the day prior to and the day after the winner's registered tournament dates.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the monthly and grand prizes, the participant must take a photo (individual or team) at the social wall that will be on-site at the Open Championships. One person must then post the picture to their social media page and use the event hashtags - #USBCOpen and #24SouthPointLV.
For the image to appear on USBC's social media device, the team members must have a public social media account. Official rules will be posted to BOWL.com.
FULFILLMENT
Monthly Prizes
USBC Marketing will manage the selection and fulfillment of the winners. Each month, the team will pull the hashtag and mailed-in entries. Utilizing a randomizing tool, the team will select the monthly winner.
Prizes will be mailed within a week of the winner being notified.
WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The pictures of each winner will be posted to USBC Facebook and Instagram accounts, and the grand prize winner will be announced across all social media after the event.
FAQ
What if I'm not competing in the tournament?
Anyone who uses the hashtag during the promotion will be eligible to participate.
Do I need to use both hashtags?
In order to be considered an eligible entry, both hashtags must be used in the post.
If I'm selected as the winner, does everyone in the photo win the prize?
Only the person posting the photo will be eligible to win. Each person in the photo can submit their own entry.
What are the criteria for a winning photo?
The winning photo is chosen at random, but we encourage entrants to submit photos that exhibit uniqueness, originality, creativity and entertainment quality.
If I win the monthly prize, am I still eligible for the grand prize?
Yes. All participants will be entered for the grand prize drawing.
How long do I have to claim my prize?
If you do not respond within 15 days, USBC reserves the right to select another winner.
How long does the promotion run?
The promotion runs Feb. 23, 2024, to the last day of the tournament.
