Brent Bowers is an all-around great guy and a terrific ambassador for the sport of bowling. He is a former Junior Team USA member, past Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow and a collegiate national champion.

This episode also included a guest appearance from USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy, who group up in the same Kansas town as Bowers.

Darryl Carreon is one of 32 bowlers in USBC Open Championships history with multiple 300 games on the championship lanes, having achieved the feat in 2014 and 2019.

Stuart Sheck (Standard Doubles) and Dwayne Brossett (Classified All-Events) won Eagles at the 2017 USBC Open Championships in Las Vegas.

Sheck and his partner Robert Tonelli had combined for more than 60 OC appearances, while Brossett was bowling for the first time, ultimately showing that magical moment can happen anytime and when you're least expecting it.

Inside the OC – Episode No. 16 with Wendy Macpherson
Aired on May 21, 2020 

Days after her father died in 2006, Wendy Macpherson turned in an amazing and inspirational performance at the USBC Open Championships.

With the support of her friends and teammates, Macpherson took the singles lead by ONE pin (812) and went on to become the first woman in tournament history to win a Regular Division title.

In 2011, Matt Weggen became the first bowler in USBC Open Championships history to roll back-to-back 800s. The performance earned him Eagles in Regular Singles (826) and Regular All-Events (2,268).

Former USBC Open Championships record holder Ron Vokes stopped by the Inside the OC podcast to talk about his 2009 Regular All-Events title and OC career.

He became the first bowler in tournament history to break the 2,300 mark, shooting 2,321 to win the title. He finished second in Regular Singles with 857. 


Inside the OC – Episode No. 12 with Jeff Fehr
Aired on May 7, 2020

Jeff Fehr did an awesome job representing the Fehr family and legacy on this episode of Inside the OC.

His father, Steve Fehr, has won six times on the championship lanes and was inducted into the USBC Hall of Fame in 1993. Jeff's mother, Nancy, is a champion at the USBC Women's Championships and was a 2006 inductee into the USBC Hall of Fame.

Jeff is looking forward to hopefully joining them in the record book someday.
