Sixty wrote for the Milwaukee Journal sports staff from 1914-74. He was noted nationally for both golf and bowling writing, plus being highly proficient at both sports. He captained several outstanding Milwaukee teams including the match game champion Heil Products. He won the Wisconsin Match Game championship in 1931, 1932, 1937 and 1944. He won one USBC Open Championships title.
