TreyFord115x140Trey Ford, left, 13, of Bartlesville, Okla., rolled his first 300 game on Feb. 5 at the Red Apple Bowling Center. He is the youngest bowler in the Greater Bartlesville Area Association to bowl a perfect game. Less than two weeks later, Trey followed his perfect game with a 778 series (252, 278, 248) and on Feb. 26 he had 11 strikes in a row for a 299 game. He is averaging 227 in the Junior Pros 3 League at Red Apple Bowling Center.

Jack Bochar, 7, of Monroe, Wis., had games of 211, 121 and 182 for a 514 series on March 15 to set a personal high game for the third time this season. Jack bowls in the Saturday Juniors league at Leisure Lanes and started the 2013-2014 season with a career-high 149 game, the rolled a 160 and a 179 before breaking through the 200-pin mark with the 211 game.

NSchlottman115x140Nathanael Schlottman Jr., right, 16, of O’Fallon, Mo., is a sophomore at Fort Zumwalt West High School and bowls in the St. Charles County High School League. On Feb. 16 at Cave Springs Lanes, Nathanael rolled games of 258, 290 and 269 for an 817 series. During a stretch that covered the second and third games, he threw 19 consecutive strikes.

OliviaKowalski115x150Olivia Kowalski, left, 11, of Milford, Conn., who was averaging 122 in the Saturday Juniors league at AMF Milford Lanes, had an outstanding series on February 14. Liv rolled games of 171, 156 and 178 for a career-high 505 series. Her goal is to roll a 200 game. 

WyatDavis115x140Wyatt Davis, right, 18, of Hastings, Neb., rolled his first 300 game on Nov. 18, 2013, at Pastime Lanes. Davis, who was averaging 199 at the time, started his series with games of 198 and 221 before rolling the perfect game for a 719 series, the second-best series of his bowling career.

Timothy Woods, 15, of Virginia Beach, Va., competes in the Tidewater Team Challenge Travel League. In the league, teams will bowl two series on different pairs on one day. On Feb. 16 at Sparetime Lanes in Hampton, Va., Timothy had 11 strikes in a row during the second game of his first series, leaving a wobbling 7 pin for a 299 game, and then came back in the second series to roll 12 strikes in a row for his first 300 game.

LuLuBarreira115x135LuLu Barreira, left, 7, of Stratford, Conn., has been working on the four-step approach and her work paid off. LuLu bowls at AMF Milford Lanes and had a 55 average going into her Saturday Junior league on Feb. 8 when she rolled rolled games of 96, 112 and 77 for a 285 series.
