Coldwater, Ohio – Dick Allen of Columbia, S.C. defeated Joe Ciccone of Buffalo, N.Y., 232-211, to win the Professional Bowlers Association Central Region’s 5th Annual Lefeld Implement Classic at Pla-Mor Lanes Sunday.

The title was Allen’s first of the year in the PBA Central Region and the 13th PBA Regional title of his career. He earned $4,000 along with his title.

Ciccone edged Brian Thompson of Flat Rock, Mich., 213-211, to advance to the championship match. In the first stepladder match, Thompson defeated Parker Bohn III of Jackson, N.J., 212-190.

Ciccone earned $2,300 for second place, Thompson won $ 1,600 for third and Bohn III $1,400 for fourth.

The next Central region event will take place in Wapakoneta, Ohio, September 7-9.
