Kent then won July 2012 honors based on his five-medal performance at the 12th World Youth Bowling Championships.
Others receiving votes were Chris Barnes, men's gold medalist, and Kelly Kulick, women's gold medalist at the World Tenpin Bowling Association World Singles Championships.
